Role Overview:
This seasonal position will be working with the INDOT contract certification process within the Testing Department, which will require Computer and Organization skills
Location:
This position is located in INDOT’s Seymour District.
Pay Rate
This position pays an hourly rate of $18.00.
A Day in the Life:
- Performs material testing at District and/or Area Testing Labs
- Collects material samples from field locations
- Transports samples to/from various INDOT laboratories
- Assists Technicians during inspections and audits.
- Performs miscellaneous labor tasks.
What You'll Need for Success:
- Valid high school diploma or GED preferred; or one (1) year of work experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, dragging, stooping, standing, and walking for long periods of time.
- Candidate will be required to submit to and pass a drug test as a condition of employment.

This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
