About the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites:
The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites (ISMHS) is a museum system with 12 locations across the state, including the Indiana State Museum in downtown Indianapolis and 11 historic sites across the state. The ISMHS is a forward-thinking, unparalleled resource for learning about and appreciating Indiana and its role in the world. Role Overview:
This role is for a Groundskeeper position at TC Steele State Historic Site. The candidate should have experience with a zero-turn mower, experience with operating a chain saw safely, and the ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
Salary Statement:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $16.73 per hour but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
A Day in the Life:
- Some essential functions of this position may be performed onsite at the agency’s worksite or other assigned worksites while some essential functions of this position may be eligible for work from home authorization in accordance with policy. Remote work authorization is not automatic and is dependent upon operational needs and agency approval.
