Salary Information:

This position starts at a base salary of $48,464.

About the Job:

As a Technical Environmental Specialist, position provides data, technology and information guidance and assistance to the Office. Serves as liaison to IDEM Information Services (IS). Coordinates information technology systems and data management processes throughout the Office.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows: 

  • Responsible for overall data coordination for the Office;
  • Serves as the Office representative to IDEM Information Services and the Indiana Office of Technology;
  • Conducts periodic system inventories;
  • Promotes the use of accurate data for decision-making and outreach;
  • Assists staff with data-, information-, and technology-related guidance;
  • Leads multi-disciplinary teams dealing with data issues.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may serve as a team lead for an assigned work group.
