Role Overview

This is a full-time, 2nd shift position with the hours of operation being 3:30 pm-12:00 am, Monday through Friday night with at least 2 weekends per month.  This position is located at Fox 59 News Station at 6910 Network Place. 

 

The Senior Draw Specialist ensures the timely monitoring of all Hoosier Lottery draw game activities and provides related reports and dissemination of information. Provides all training and oversees the scheduling of the draw staff along with maintaining all draw procedures are up to date.


Salary Statement

The maximum salary for this position is $50,212.50.

 

A Day in the Life

  • Assists with the actual draw game drawing for the purpose of verifying, recording, and cross-referencing the draw sales, numbers drawn and prize information with draw site personnel;
  • Enters the winning numbers into computer system and works with IT personnel to verify that the winning numbers are entered under dual control;
  • Balances a variety of reports to ensure the accuracy of the sales and winning numbers;
  • Interfaces with online vendor, Security, IT and Powerball personnel to verify information;
  • Sends out winning numbers and prize correspondence to the Media and Lottery staff;
  • Performs other required tasks as assigned.

 

What You'll Need for Success

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • A minimum of three (3) years of previous clerical experience;
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and perform work with high degree of accuracy;
  • Ability to maintain accurate recordkeeping;
  • Ability to use computers and calculators;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
