Hire Salary:

Salary for the identified candidate will be commensurate with education and experience. The minimum salary for this classification is $47,467.

About the Job:

This position will serve as County Security Inspector will require scheduling and traveling to counties throughout the state as well as any other locations containing confidential child support information. This position will assist with account management task by setting up access to ISETS and resetting of IDs. The position will assist with security monitoring, and tracking reports by ongoing and periodic review of procedures, and security training materials, password resets for central office staff and county staff. This position is responsible for the submission of timely and accurate IRS Safeguard Reports, SSA Security Reports, and OCSE Security Reports and supporting reports. This work requires coordination with others from DCS, IOT, and FSSA. The position will assist the Compliance Supervisor on miscellaneous security and administrative tasks. The position will also assist with Background check process.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows: 

  • Complete FTI internal inspections for county offices, INSCCU, DCS Finance, IOT and the IOT DR site every two years.
  • Schedule inspections with county offices, INSCCU, DCS Finance and IOT. 
  • Consult with counties and field consultants with office moves. 
  • Establish a good working relationships with county partners and CSB staff. Communicate effectively between technical, security, state child support, and county child support workers. 
  • Work closely with CSB Business and CSB-IT to assist in developing and implementing the overall security posture of the Child Support Bureau. 
  • Complete or assist with annual Security Training for central office staff as needed. 
  • Complete or assist with monthly CSA Trainings for central office staff as needed. 
  • Communicate verbally and in writing on professional level with other state agencies. 
  • Assist in preparation for IRS Safeguard Reviews and SSA Audits. 
  • Assist with work relating to inquiries from IRS or SSA for information.
  • Assist with completion of all IRS reports- SSR SPR, SAR, CAP, and SSA Audit reports. Includes timely submission of these reports, coordination and information gathering. Involves some monitoring for completion of proposed changes. 
  • Assists with updating the CSR website and other SharePoint websites with audit reports and other information as needed.
  • Accompany the IRS during the IRS Safeguard Review visits to the counties.
  • Assist with setting up access to ISETS and resetting of IDs.
  • Reset mainframe passwords for CSB, and ISETS.
  • Systems Access: Process user access requests and deletions for mainframe, ISETS, BMV, FPLS State Services Portal, Panoptic, Lombardi (license suspension) and delete requests for FIDM Alliance & Kidstar for CSB/ISETS. Maintain user system access lists and user agreements.
  • Assist Compliance Supervisor on miscellaneous tasks.
