The Program's mission is to provide eligible entities with the lowest interest rates possible on the financing of such projects while protecting public health and the environment. Example projects include septic tank elimination, collection system improvements, Long-Term Control Plan sewer separations, treatment facility expansions, emerging contaminant treatment, lead service line replacement, wellfield expansions, water storage, and water distribution improvement projects, among others.
The position assists with review of the PER required for funding from the SRF program. The SRF Project Engineer guides the loan applicant and their consultant through the technical aspects of the PER for ultimate approval and follows a project through financing and construction completion, documenting programmatic compliance and ensuring funding eligibility until the loan is fully drawn down.
