The salary for this position traditionally starts at $44,720.00 per year but may be commensurate with education and/or experience.

About the Job:

To provide leadership and support to all areas of HIV Services for the state of Indiana working with Ryan White Part B funds, Supplemental Ryan White Funds, and Rebates from the ADAP program. The position will also be in charge of collection of data from each site we fund and helping with the multiple reports that are required of these federal funds.  

A Day in the Life:

​The essential functions of this role are as follows: 

  • Assist in Management of all projects and progress reports for Ryan White Part B, Supplemental and Rebate funds currently totaling over 80 million dollars annually;
  • Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and evaluate all service-related activities in compliance with conditions of grant award(s);
  • Develop policies and procedures for the delivery and coordination of HIV medical and social services related to Ryan White funding and future funding both public and private services;
  • Direct quality assurance and quality improvement activities such as utilization review, health outcomes assessment, and progress evaluation of all grant funded projects ;
  • Ensure contractual compliance among all subcontractors and grantees for Ryan White Services programs
  • Oversee and manage oversight of daily activities of CAREWare and RWISE in collaboration with Medical Services Director for purposes of data collection and daily operations.
  • Supervise the Case Management and HIV Prevention Expert Consultant and all related program consultants who are employed to assist in Ryan White HIV services ;
  • Provide information and technical consultation on HIV services programs developed as part of Ryan White Grants;
  • Perform and assign activities associated with grant application processes, contract preparation, reports, administration, and contract monitoring to assure compliance and conformity with the terms of the contract(s);
  • Participate in the development of a Quality Assurance/Quality Indicators system for HIV services related to funded Grants and insure compliance to national monitoring standards;
  • Work to develop and update clinical guidelines in conjunction with clinical providers statewide that are consistent with national standards
  • Meet regularly with the HIV Services Director, Division Deputy Director and Division Director to discuss program status.

What You'll Need for Success:

This person must have the following requirements to be considered for employment: 

  • Extensive knowledge in the planning and implementation of public health programs;
  • Specialized knowledge of HIV disease, federal service programs and their impact on the patient, family, and community;
  • Advanced knowledge of current developments in public health and HIV disease;
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to HIV;
  • Extensive knowledge of budgeting practices, program planning, and evaluation methods and the ability to apply this knowledge to public health programs;
  • An ability to act as a liaison for the Division with contractual consultants and vendors regarding personnel policies, practices, and performance issues;
  • An energetic, highly organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated personality, with excellent critical thinking, communication, and personnel management skills; and
  • An ability to work well with other Division staff and to promote a positive work environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role provides direct supervision for one or more staff members.
