Role Overview:
Executive Assistant to the Executive Director provides vital administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the executive office. This role encompasses managing the Executive Director's calendar, coordinating meetings, preparing reports and presentations, and handling correspondence. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion are essential, as the position involves interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Salary Statement:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $43,888.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
A Day in the Life:
- Checking emails
- Organizing the ED's calendar and preparing dociminets for meetings
- Meet with ED to discuss the current day and the plan for the rest of the week
- Attending team huddles to gather updates
- Preparing briefing documents and coordinating with departments and external parties
- Arranging travel if needed
- Assisting the ED with meeting preparations and participating in stakeholder meetings
- Responding to emails and managing requests as the ED's gatekeeper
- Wroking on special projects or tasks by the ED
- Reviewing accomplishments and updating the next day's calendar
