Salary Statement  The salary for this position is $56,770.00 annually.


Role Overview: The Coordinator, Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Outreach supports the external engagement, storytelling, and community outreach efforts of entrepreneurship programs and initiatives to support the overall growth of Indiana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

A Day in the Life:

 

  • Support statewide efforts to develop, implement, and promote a comprehensive suite of tools and services to help Indiana entrepreneurs and small businesses start and grow their business.
  • Manage annual publication of Entrepreneurship Indiana yearbook to highlight entrepreneur success stories.
  • Support the sourcing, development and distribution of community impact stories, rankings, data, and entrepreneur stories in collaboration with external engagement team.
  • Support and execute entrepreneurship team collaborations with external engagement, including video series, social media, website, newsletter, slide decks, one-pagers, talking points, graphics, etc.
  • Manage hosting of entrepreneurship events in collaboration with external engagement team and support entrepreneurial events across the State.
  • Work collaboratively with public private partners to source and amplify success stories.
  • Support the IEDC’s Entrepreneurship programs by providing operational and research support as requested
  • Assist with constituent outreach related to Innovation and Entrepreneurship activity by phone, email, etc.
  • Administer entrepreneurship team ecosystem sponsorships and community support.
  • Identify and execute ways to engage and support the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Serve as a facilitator who analyzes gaps in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and fosters collaboration among entrepreneur support organizations.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What You'll Need for Success:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public administration, political science, or other related subject.

 

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in program management, marketing, community outreach, or government.
  • Demonstrated support for and knowledge of the entrepreneurial ecosystem a plus.
  • Knowledge or interest in entrepreneurship, public policy, and equity.
  • Experience working with a large group of stakeholders.
  • Experience working with communications and event planning.
  • Experience in working with government, nonprofit, and business communities.
  • Experience using tools such as Canva to develop marketing materials.

 

Ability to:

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Work within a quickly evolving environment.
  • Work in a deadline and metric driven environment.
