The Office of Judicial Administration is responsible for the efficient administration of all agencies that operate under the direction of the Chief Justice and the Supreme Court. That includes 200 personnel; fiscal management; communication; technology; legal services; intergovernmental relations; services for the trial courts; and support for court boards, commissions, and committees. The Office is headed by Chief Administrative Officer Justin P. Forkner, who reports directly to the Chief Justice of Indiana and serves as the link between the Chief Justice and the agencies of the Court.
Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $59,800 but may be commensurate with education and/or experience.

About the Job:
This position serves as Coordinator with the Indiana Office of Court Services, Commission on Improving the Status of Children. Collaborating with Executive Director, and other staff members this position includes developing and implementation of policies and procedures for the CISC as well as providing direction and oversight to staff as assigned, planning and monitoring goals and objectives, supporting members of the Commission, its task forces, committees and subcommittees, and ensuring work aligns with the goals of the Commission.
A Day in the Life:
• Works with intern(s), other staff and executive director to facilitate youth and family participation in CISC task forces, committees, and subcommittees, including the development and implementation of necessary policies, practices, and training
• Assists in planning and execution of all regular and special Commission meetings and events
• Attend assigned task force and committee meetings to provide Commission perspective, answer questions, ensure coordination
• Collects agendas, minutes and recordings from task forces and committees for posting on the website
• Maintain Commission website content
• Manage submission of Commission reports to the Legislative Council
• Assist with tracking legislation
• Attend appropriate multi-disciplinary and collaborative bodies as invited or assigned by the executive director
• As needed, assist in compiling agendas, taking minutes and recording Commission task force and committee
• Performs all duties necessary and requested to meet the mission and vision of the Commission

Technology and Tool Usage
• Learn and adapt to new technologies within the Microsoft Suite as well as Supreme Court systems
