    About the Job


The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles Titles Department is searching for a driven and self-motivated individual to serve as an Operations Analyst. You will be reviewing transitions to identify gaps and enhancements in our current processes and policies. You will be working hand-in-hand with customers, agencies, and branches to ensure that all the changes are communicated quickly and effectively. A day in the life:


The essential functions of this roles are as follows:

Learn and adhere to BMV policies and procedures

Manages title related BMV transaction policies;

Document business rules and technical changes needed to improve transactions

Work with the department policy writer

Oversees BMV’s record system policies and processes

    • Identifies improvements and/or issues with the Bureau’s records system regarding titles transactions.
    • Identifies policy and technical changes needed to improve transactions
    • Performs and identifies gaps in title transaction security.

Assists the Director with agency initiatives and special projects

Assists the Director with implementing new programs and helps guide the agency during operational transitions

What we're looking for:


  • High school diploma or GED and Customer Service experience required.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret current processes and programs and make recommendations to improve
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Conflict management skills and the ability to resolve difficult situations

If this is an Intermittent position, the position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
