About the Job


The purpose of this position is to support operations of the agency functions through quality verifying Credentials, Titles and Watercraft transactions for compliance in proper identity of documentation.  Imaging and quality verifying is to ensure the agency is not liable in any legal matters concerning such transactions.

A Day in the Life:


The essential functions of this role are as follows: 

  • Quality verify 1,200 credentials or 1,200 title/watercraft title transactions daily with no more than a .0025% error rate per quarter;
  • Place branch errors on hold with the error documented with accuracy in FORTIS;
  • Quality control 210 batches or validate 280 batches in KOFAX;
  • Research Unique Identifier Number in the STARS system before transaction can be enter into  KOFAX
  • Perform related duties as assigned

What You'll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment: 

  • Six (6) months clerical or related experience or accredited college training in a related field. 
    Basic knowledge of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and math;
    High School Diploma or equivalent;
    knowledge of agency computer programs such as Outlook;
    Working knowledge of specialized computer programs to include FORTIS and KOFAX;
    Basic knowledge of Division procedures, programs and activities and the ability to apply these to pertinent situations;
    Ability to operate equipment necessary to departmental functioning;
    Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
    Ability to maintain confidentiality of Division documents;
    Ability to communicate both orally and in writing effectively;
    Ability to multitask in a changeable environment;
    Ability to attend to detail;
    Ability to focus on a computer screen up to eight hours per day;
    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
    Must be able to work flexible hours.  Tuesday 11:00am-8:00pm, Wednesday Thursday Friday 9:30am-6:30pm and Saturday 8:30am to 2:00pm.
