Salary Statement

The hourly rate for this position is $16.24 per hour.

A Day in the Life:

  • Assist in the Indiana State Fair balancing process for the accounting team during the fair dates of August 7 -August 23.  Will need to begin employment no later than July 20, 2026. Fair days run Tuesday – Sunday and hours are normally 12:00pm- 9:00pm.  Training will take place at the Hoosier Lottery Headquarters and at the State Fair grounds between the hours of 9:00am-4:00pm.
  • Opportunity to begin as early as May 26, 2026. Work on-site at the Hoosier Lottery Headquarters, 10 hours per week until the fair begins, assisting the Senior Accounting Manager with projects, such as running weekly and monthly sales reports, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and standard journal entries.

What You'll Need for Success:

  • To be considered for this position, you must be enrolled currently in an accredited college or university, majoring in Accounting, AND have completed at least two (2) years of college-level education credits
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be prepared to work weekends, early mornings, or late nights especially Aug 7-Aug 23
  • Demonstrate people and management skills

Benefits of Employment with the State of Indiana:

This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
