Salary: 

This role is typically filled with a starting salary of $26,702.

 

About the Job:

As the Accountant, you will improve the processing of unemployment taxes by providing the technical skills for directing payments, depositing payments and providing assistance to the supervisor with any business need that may arise.  This allows payments to be deposited in a timely and efficient manner to Indiana's employers' unemployment insurance accounts.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows: 

 

  • Deposit all checks by remote deposit, balance with all worksheets.
  • Print remote capture reports, email reports and deposited checks to the Check Processor Specialist.
  • Assist with the processing of routine and miscellaneous checks when needed.
  • Account number research.
  • Training and assisting employees with procedures for processing.
  • Assist supervisor as a Team Lead.
