Role Overview: 

Incumbents will work primarily outdoors, performing small culvert inspections on structures less than 4' span under state-maintained roads.  Must dress appropriately for the weather and wear steel-toed boots.  Incumbents must be capable of traversing rugged terrain and steep embankments.  Inspections are recorded via iPads.  Some office work will include logging time, checking e-mails and reviewing inspection data on a laptop.  Must be proficient with the basic functions of an iPad, proficient with Microsoft office, word and excel, and capable of learning new programs.

 

Salary

This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $18.00 an hour.

This position is located in INDOT’s Fort Wayne District.
