Role Overview:
The position is responsible for all inspections of A-M Training Center Troop Issue (Billeting) Facilities and Billeting programs. Serves as the secondary point of contact for all military, DOD agencies, government, civilian, and exercise coordinators in support of troop issue facility requirements. Will build a variety of inspection checklists to be utilized by customers and coworkers to provide maintenance free facilities. Will implement the checklists into daily operations. Will plan, prepare, report, receive guidance and request change where required to improve programs and process. This position is the primary contact for customers during the issuing and clearing procedures of transient facilities controlled and issued by the Billeting Office. The position is responsible to ensure that all facilities issued, cleared, and returned to the Billeting Office are returned in the manner that they were received. The position requires access to the Indiana National Guard Network via a Guard Net Account. You must be able to pass a National Agency Check for CAC access. In the absence of the Housing Manager, this position will assume all manager responsibilities. This position requires IDOC certification training annually.
Salary Statement:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $39,000.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
A Day in the Life:
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
- Research and compile information on specific aspects of the program such as procedures, needs and policies.
- Answer basic customer questions about program policies and procedures.
- Establish, organize, and maintain current and historical files related to the program.
- Collect information to help in the preparation of program reports, develop applications, prepare budget allocations and/or purchasing of consultative services.
- Maintain, organize, and monitor program assets.
- Schedule, prepare, and disseminate all program related training materials.
