Role Overview:

The INDOT Crawfordsville District is in search of Summer Seasonal Workers interested in joining our team.  This position will be part of the Facilities maintenance repair team and will be performing repair work, landscaping, and snow and ice removal activities at INDOT facilities in the Crawfordsville District including the district office complex, subdistricts, & units.

 

Location:

This position is located in INDOT’s Crawfordsville District, Facilities Department.

 

Salary:

This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $18.00 an hour.

 

A Day in the Life:

The essential elements of the job duties:  

  • Safely perform mowing and landscaping
  • Building maintenance and repairs, which include plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, concrete work, parts delivery/pick up, washing buildings/windows

What You'll Need for Success:

This person must have the following requirements to be considered for employment:  
• High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
• Valid Indiana Driver's License.
• Should have a working knowledge of one or more of the following: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, mowing.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
