About the Job

 

Branch Managers oversee and execute all aspects of branch operations. You will be responsible for the training, development, evaluation, and discipline of all branch staff as well as ensuring the branch is compliant with all policies and procedures. You will evaluate branch metrics to ensure the branch is functioning at its highest efficiency.

A day in the life:

 

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Oversee the branch’s day-to-day operations
  • Conduct meetings with branch staff
  • Consult with Regional Manager to ensure staffing levels are schedule correctly
  • Assist with the daily opening and closing of the branch
  • Complete daily and weekly reports
  • Complete daily records for all balances and deposits
  • Clarify, enforce, support, and provide guidance to branch staff in the interpretation and implementation of BMV policies and procedures
  • Verify and approve payroll
  • Facilitate in the resolution of all customer complaints
  • Partner with Regional Manager and HR staff to ensure training, development, evaluation, and discipline is completed in accordance with policy
  • Monitor BMV inventory and office supplies

What we're looking for:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Four (4) years of experience as a manager in a service industry
  • Ability to communicate exceptionally with all variety of employees and customers
  • Strong experience with writing reports and presenting
  • A high level of critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot
  • Strong decision making ability
  • An exceptional drive to assist with the training and development of BMV employees
  • Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret general policies, procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Ability to travel up to 20 percent of the time to branch locations, training, or branch-related community activities.

If this is an Intermittent position, the position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
