Application Systems Analyst Senior

PeopleSoft Financials Projects Business Support Analyst - Provides PeopleSoft Financials Project Costing, Customer Contracts, Commitment Control and related modules business support for all State agencies as a member of the GMIS funcitonal team.  The GMIS team supports ERP systems statewide for Financials, HR and Hyperion.  This support includes providing functional support for over 150 agencies.

A Day in the Life

•           Manage Project Costing and Customer Contracts for State of Indiana users

•           Provide Lifecycle support of PeopleSoft Financials modules including Project Costing, Customer

             Contracts

•           Administer and track module upgrade testing and coordination of testing participation reported

             other State agencies

•           Coordinating for regression testing and UAT of supported modules.

•           Troubleshoot and support PeopleSoft to resolve end user problems and questions

•           Utilize helpdesk application to track and respond to user support issues within our SLA

•           Confer with technical and functional GMIS team members, as well as other IOT staff regarding

             issues resolution

•           Coordinate and support maintenance of complete end user training materials

•           Look for opportunities to improve business and technical processes

•           Analyze system defects to identify patterns and root causes

•           Work with Business owners to support oversight needs and offer guidance and advice on

             business models

What we're looking for

Mastery of PeopleSoft Project Costing and Customer Contracts at State of Indiana

•           In-depth experience with module testing methodologies

•            Thorough knowledge of State policies relating PeopleSoft Project Costing & Federal Billing

•           Strong knowledge of query and/or sql and familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials table records

•           Excellent problem solver

•           Must work well in a team environment

•           Must manage priorities well in accordance with GMIS policies

•           Must have good written and verbal communications skills.  Must be comfortable speaking in

             front of large groups
